Mr & Mrs Belcher, Sheffield
As new investors in the area, my husband and I have been delighted by the teams passion and knowledge.
Storrs is located between Loxley and Dungworth in Sheffield S6. With its countryside location the windy roads encased by fields leads you right to this property. Off road parking is available just two minutes down the road or you can choose to park outside the main entrance. The garden path with shrubs and grassed are and bench takes you to the front door and into the reception porch.
The living area is large with natural daylight beaming through showcasing the tiled floor and the fireplace not to mention the original wooden beams which steal the show. Steps take you down to the kitchen which has wooden wall and base units and has a very country feel to it. Just off from the kitchen is the dining room which has a built in wooden seat and space for you to add your own dining table and chairs. There is also a large L shaped storage area leading from the kitchen which wraps around the building and has skylights in parts.
The open staircase takes you from the lounge up to the first floor which has some fantastic features within the stone and hanging as decoration. There are four rooms plus the bathroom on this floor all of which have the beams and amazing views over the countryside some with skylights. The master bedroom overlooks the garden at the front and the other three rooms can be used as bedrooms for a family or would be great for people that work from home or are just looking for that special quiet retreat with lots of character and true country style living. The bathroom has a modern white suite with shower over bath and heated towel rail and this too carries through with the beams and skylight.
Dungworth Primary School is just five minutes down the road along with the well known Royal Hotel which is a family-run public house in the village of Dungworth. Our Cow Molly is a local business that offers homemade Ice Cream and Milk throughout Sheffield not forgetting Bradfield Brewery that offers local ales and The Plough and Old Horns which are local pubs offering food for those special treats.
