Finding the right property for yourself, you and your partner or even your family to rent may seem a daunting prospect from the beginning. Blundells are here to make the whole process as stress free as possible.

¤ Which area would suit my needs?
¤ What properties are in my price range?
¤ What do I do when I've found my perfect house or apartment?
¤ Are there extra costs?

Once you have found a property you like, we ask you to fill out an application form. A fee of £150.00 for 1-2 applicants and £199.00 for 3-4 applicants (non refundable) payable upon application, this fee includes the application fee and administration fee.

You will be required to pass a credit check and the referencing process should take around 48 hours. Once you have passed the credit checks we will arrange a move in date and a convenient time for you to sign the Tenancy Agreement. Anyone over the age of 18 must be on the Tenancy Agreement.

At the point of signing the Tenancy Agreement, you will also receive the following documentation:

¤ A copy of the annual Landlords Gas Safety Certificate, Tenancy Agreement and Section 21 Notice (legal notice stating vacation date)
¤ Inventory (if applicable)
¤ Details of the repair line
¤ Business card with details of your personal Lettings Co-ordinator
¤ Standing Order Mandate
¤ Landlord details for future reference (if required)

Once you have moved into your property, you will be required to take meter readings for all utilities and inform the relevant utility companies of your new occupation.
On the sign up day we will always ask for one months rent and bond to paid in advance. We accept either delta / switch (a £7.50 charge per transaction is levied for this service) or a bankers draft.

On all properties managed by Blundells our dedicated team are on hand during your tenancy if faults or repairs need reporting or if you require advice regarding your tenancy.
